CHARACTER COUNTS! has a new resource to teach children about character. This DVD series provides short film clips from motion pictures spotlighting lessons in character based on the Six Pillars of Character for use as teaching resources. Each DVD contains 12 clips from movies such as Babe, The Lord of the Rings, Saving Private Ryan, and more. Each DVD comes with a comprehensive study guide with discussion questions, quotes, and thought-provoking activities that will promote deeper reflection on the Six Pillar values. Some of the DVDs below are ready for purchase, and some are still in production. The DVDs are $39.99 each. I have not yet seen a video, but they look to be a great product that is very easy to use in school or after school.
