Have a silly painting day - without paintbrushes and construction paper.

Find funny objects to paint with, such as toothbrushes, vegetables, matchbox cars, sponges, cotton swabs, sticks...

Find recycled materials to paint on, such as waxed paper, pizza boxes, wrapping paper, bubble wrap, gift bags...

Set out some washable tempera paint, and go to town painting crazy pictures.

This activity builds the developmental assets of constructive use of time, empowerment, and positive identity. If you do it together, you can also build the asset of support.
